My solution to the problem of Wizards and Sorcerers is to Multiclass them. I have a Moon Elf that is a level 1 Rouge and 2 levels of Wizard (general). And thanks to the stealth skills of the Rouge class he has been able to survive so far.
I also make "smart" use of my familiar and recall him ...

Re: Lessons learned from Sunday's expedition
Eventhough Ashal could not make it to tend the wounds of the injured and aid them in their quest, I have to completely agree with Karn. Most if not all of the tactics explained I have used to ensure Ashal's survival. When engaging a battle with higher level enemies (and that can aflict illness to ...

Re: The Vast Crew
Well what can I say? I respect everybody's opinion becaused they are entitled to. I respect Apollo as a DM (and a very good one at that) mainly because how he came thru (with the help of AG) in the last DM sponsored event. I was playing Ashal Fearrina and found the journey very interesting and ...

Re: Future expeditions - weekend of 25-26 October
Ashal Fearrina is willing to embark on any quests that can lead to the pinpoint of the whereabouts of the Drow and this Sorceress Person. I should be able to join up during the evening hours (est time). Just leave posted the time and place of departure and I will try to be there.

Re: Maps of Faerun
Eventhough Raven's Bluff exist as a server I would still like to see it added to the Vast as part of the server mod. I feel it should be added for completeness sake and to have another city in which to trade in.

Re: Maps of Faerun
I have taken a close look at the Map of Faerum (which is awesome!) and had a closer look upon The Vast. There are 3 cities that would be a nice addition to the server in the Future. Those are Ravens, Tantras and Calaunt. Not only that the addition of the Fire River also.
More on the subject of Drow and Duergar...

It is a shame that AG has included that in the rules because it would have been fun to play a Drow or Duergar Defector that is being chased by his own kind or does not agree with the stablished societies.
Re: Questions about DM event
One detail that slipped my mind was as mentioned before by another player was the famed Apollo's Dragon. I am pretty much guess he will come into play at some point or another and it would not be so bad to actually meet him... unless you have been invited to be the main course meal of him that is ...

Re: Just a few questions about subraces and such...
Technically speaking the only two subraces that are part of the NWN core programing, at least from what I have seen so far without the aid of any mods, are the Drow and Duergar subraces.
Yup it definately makes you think twice about sending a familiar to battle. Beter make more wise use of familiars I say and that includes recalling them when the odds are definately against you. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT ...

Re: Questions about DM event
If we were to submit our characters to the quest in question what would be the odds of survival? It would be a shame to loose a perfectly good character with potential to the fugue plane. I know that it is mostly up to the players to survive the quest, but then again DM's can be evil....<!--EZCODE ...

Can a DM explain the effects of "Tathing"?
Does a DM have to be present to award any type of compensation for doing such a task?

Re: Full Plate
I agree with AG on this matter since having a FUll Plate symbolizes the completion of a great deed or character status. In other words those who are of elite kind, pertain to a knight guild, or have earned it thru trial, sweat and blood can attain such a high prize. It really degfines a status of ...
