Kenneth Proudmane

Image Duty

Kenneth was raised by his father Gregor and mother Isolde. His mother died in childbirth, when Kenneth's brother Davon was brought into the world. The boys' early years were spent on a farm, in the vacinity of River Vesper Landing (on the south side of the river, about a day's ride away).

Gregor went through a period of severe depression and sickness after his wife's death. He then found a new beginning by serving the Triad Temple as a guardsman. By this time both boys were in their teens, and had taken over many of the chores and farmwork.

Kenneth and Davon were often at odds. Kenneth was often more concerned with the work around the farm, and making sure things ran smoothly, while Davon would often abandon his chores to enjoy his youthful and wreckless habits. The boys would sometimes even get into fights because they were unable to make peace with one another.

Gregor shared his new found knowledge of Torm and the Triad with his sons, and Kenneth was quick to accept such teachings. Gregor did his best to try and help his sons reconcile, but it resulted only in a truce of sorts.

Image Rememberance

While escorting a group of pilgrims to the Temple in the Landing, Gregor was slain when a large group of bandits attacked. The pilgrims were able to make their way to safety, however. Upon receiving his father's scorced and dented helm, Kenneth made the choice to follow in his father's footsteps. Gregor's death spurred on another heated argument between the two brothers, and this time, they parted to follow their seperate ways. Kenneth sold the farm, donned an old suit of armor his father left behind, and made his way to the Landing. Davon left for the west, sparing only a single look back, to that which was his home.

Image Wisdom

Since Kenneth made his choice to serve the the good folk of the region, he has been accepted in to the Triad as a knight, serving along side his fellows such as Jach Kley, Zato of Ilmater, Matyas DeLac, and many others of faith. He has also learned much in the art of warfare, discipline and the healing arts. A long way from the once-clumsy, lanky farm lad of days gone by.
