Trent Waynn
Upon his departure from River Vesper Landing, Trent's intentions were to find out the reason for the Lich residing in the Sunken Cemetary. In his travels, he met dead end after dead end of information. Even a man of Torm that he was, his patience was beginning to wear thin. He didn't want to give up his quest, due to the fact that he was given the quest with the highest importance. Yet something told him there was more to this quest than what was being told. Shocked at his doubt in the Temple, he quickly discounted those feelings and continued on his journey. After months of investigating, his searching lead him into the Cemetary itself. Yet no answers were found. Being that Trent wasn't born into his role as a paladin, another side of his personality had been coming more and more towards the light as time passed. The dormat fighting spirit that he had donned years prior in his first coming to Dragon Dale. His impatience and frustration, aside with too much time away from the Temple and his prayers began to sprout anger. Trent had never been one to fail very often, but his main flaw was that if and when he did, doubt took over. He began to feel like a pawn, and like he was being used to bait the Lich out of hiding, so that the other members could claim credit. His death would be a symbol of dedication, yet futile in his own eyes. The evil of the cemetary and the power of the Lich had began to seep into him. As the days passed, he began to spend more and more time in the cemetary searching, but not for answers. He did not quite know what he was searching for anymore. I did not pray at the temple anymore, he did not tithe his earnings. His mind raced with thoughts uncommon to his mindset. The name Torm, while once a soothing wind on a warm day, stung his mind like an arctic blast. The very name began to anger him. "Why has he not shown me the way. Why have i not concluded this menial task to regain my place in the temple among my brethren? Have i not given all that i am to you?" he shouted towards the heavens. Without anymore words, Trent approached one of the doors to the crypts below. His hand turned the knob, and the door swung open. Without looking back, Trent disappeared through the door, slamming it shut behind him.
