So, since I've been away at training and not able to play video games much, I've gone back to that classic form of entertainment, reading. Right now I'm almost done The Chronicles of the Black Company. I've read it before, but I'm still really enjoying it the second time through.
So what's everyone else wrapped up in right now?

Re: Reading
Good thread for books,
I just finished The Strain trilogy , modern vampire story in NYC area. Good popcorn reading.
http://www.amazon.com/The-Strain-Trilogy/dp/0061558249
Perhaps it would be good to list our all-time favorites so that others might find something new..
Should we stick to fiction or any genre ?
Armor by J. Steakley, is probably in my top 5 all time favorites. And I don't read sci fi much.

Re: Reading
I'll have to punch that one into my goodreads queue somewhere.
After the Black Company I read the first two books of Cook's first series, The Chronicles of the Dread Empire. I'm glad he became a much better writer before tackling the Black Company. Dread Empire is some tough reading, I don't know that I'll go farther than the second book.

Re: Reading
I seem to be in a reading lull. Having trouble getting much momentum.
I'm currently (slowly) reading Half Empty by the late David Rakoff (I love his radio work).
I'm also partway through Martin's A Feast for Crows, but I've set it down temporarily. Will pick it back up soon.
