War Council Meeting

To AG, 
that is how we tried to organize it, with the exception of the north gate. The leaders have been picked. all that needs to be done now is a party for the north gate be made. but since attendence was low at the meeting, that may be a problem. Looking for OOC suggestions on how to coordinate this.

I gotta agree with Innu. It sucks, because in character we can not know ahead of time that we are being attacked. And yet as players, we need to know so we can be there.

This will be a specific event, and I will make an announcement ahead of time. It will take place on a sunday afternoon (EST) in the very near future. You can also expect the saturday before to hold some activity, but the attack will fall on that sunday. 
 
In character, the rangers of Mhyrrwood have been tracking goblinoid activity for a very long time, and the town will have advance warning of the army's march.

That unfortunately counts me out unless it starts dead on the start of the EST afternoon since that's something around 5pm here. 
 
Having work on the next morning would mean I'd not be able to stay up stupidly late like I did over christmas and aside from Milton being horribly injured, I don't think I could come up with a plausible IC justification for abandoning the gates. 'I have other urgent business' wouldn't really cut it after all.

Don't have a clue when Superbowl Sunday is.. but I know that next Sunday at least, I'll not be able to stay on any later than 5-6pm EST due to an exam on the Monday. Any other Sundays, and I *should* be able to stretch the time to later than that.

No one is required to be there for the entire event. If you only can or wish to take part in a portion of it, that is fine too. I expect we will have plenty of people coming and going. In character, you can always say you are taking on the duty of patrolling the town interior, protecting the citizens and property from potential interlopers, and local shady characters. 
 
If you have been actively participating in the event, and must log off, send a tell into the DM channel a few minutes beforehand, so we can make sure you get some xp for your efforts.

if we are putting in preferences, I would have to say that the weekend of the 25th is the best upcoming sunday for me...

Aye....the weekend of the 24th and 25th is good for me, too. 
I would really like to be a part of this....because I have been wanting this type of event for some time now, but if it is decided for on Sunday the 25th...please not too late (EST)
