To all people and DM 2 questions....
I am thinking, of taking disarm (most for Roleplay wise of the character) than anything.
does it work with the monster in the vast ?
IE : If i disarm a Goblin warrior will he loose his Morning star ?

2) A player Roleplayed an sneak and coward attack on me last night...
Is there a jail on the vast/Dale/Landing ? As per character i had 2 solutions, Kill him (fury) or beating him to unconsciousness and bring it to the law (Character Background) as i had witnesses that the attack had no formal provocations, but the character twisted mind.
Should i call a DM to roleplay this, in case it happens again and i don´t content myself in snaping the offender arm ?
Dunno about question 1.

Question 2:

I take it, that the attack wasn't a direct PvP. In that case, there is jails in both cities, but you'll have to fetch the guards to get anyone there (I have been there so I should know )
Re: To all people and DM 2 questions....
Erm...Serion did nothing wrong. He didn't actually attack Jax. He just walked up behind him and placed his sword around Jax's throat. Plus, it was outside of town, so even if he did attack Jax, the guards have no control over it.

For the DM's information, one time Jax objectified Ananiki, and then disrespected nature (both in the same day). This annoyed Serion to no end.
So, he saw Jax (and Krow) leaving the Dale as he was entering, and they exchanged violent words. Then, Jax walked away, and Serion followed him in sneak mode, putting his blade up to Jax's throat threatening him.
So, Jax responded by twisting Serion's arm, severely hurting it, and Krow, not knowing what was going on, defended Jax. So, Serion, not wanting to get into a two-on-one fight, slipped back into the shadows and snuck off, but not before issuing a threat to Jax that he better not travel alone.

I don't see any problems RPing-wise or law-wise. *Shrug* I didn't actually attack, and anyone that knows Serion knows how excessively defensive he is about attacks on Ananiki (verbal or otherwise).

Re: To all people and DM 2 questions....
Since it is outside town there isn't much Jax can do about it I guess... But this doesn't mean he cannot try and speak to the guards anyway, having them keeping an eye on Serion
I don't think Sucelus meant non-RP-wise.

re:
In answer to your disarm question... yes.

Zato in his first incarnation possessed the disarm feat, and once he reaches his next level, it's going to be a struggle in my mind to either gratify myself with power attack or take disarm.

When you disarm goblins, as I have done multiple times, the hit dice makes the roll. If you get a hit, a DC is rolled again, it will show you the roll in blue, as usual. Goblin thugs and grunts are very easy. They have virtually no discipline. If you get a hit, they will be disarmed. The daggers they hold usually fly away behind them, a couple of "game feet". you'd have to run over there to pick it back up. The monster AI is, of course, not trained to run and pick up their weapons, so it will continue to fight you unarmed, and since they do not have improved unarmed attack, they will bring attacks of opportunity to themselves. Of course, you'll probably kill the goblin on the same hit, as I always do.

Keep in mind, when you take the disarm feat, that there is a size of weapon penalty added on during the attack. Disarm feat gives you a to-hit penalty of -6 I believe, and improved disarmed brings it down to -4. Then the size of the weapons get counted. For every size larger your weapon is compared to the opponent, it's +4. When Zato had disarm, I roleplayed that his style taught weapon disarming techniques by using a heavy quarterstaff (but I had a simple quarterstaff anyway). Because my weapon is largest, I usually had a +8 bonus against tiny weapons, so the penalty was practically null. If you have smaller weapons than the opponent, you'll have an even greater penalty... and if you miss, the opponent gets an attack of opportunity. So beware who you try to disarm, and what you use to do it. you're not going to disarm a greatsword using a short sword. But when you do succeed, the enemies on this server WILL, as far as I have experienced, lose their weapons, and you can pick it up later.

Re: To all people and DM 2 questions....
Well,

As for Roleplay, yes it was all Roleplay, but you where Really lucky that Jax didn´t beat you to unconsciouness and throwed you to the guards.(all RP cause i can´t let you unconscious.)
You attack was issued by behind in sneak mode and you poised a cutting edge on Jax throat.
Nothing than an assassination attempt to let a military/mercenary pissed of.

As for teh .. violent words HAH..
I just told you to go play around elsewhere -kid.(which he really think you are cause till now your acted like a fool child in his eyes)

As for Ananniki Jax has a weakness for beautifull wemens and a great one for muscled wemens that can hold theyr grounds in battle (Not even counting her sensual armor). He didn´t even had her name hehehe thanks for that info.
As for nature disrespect, i really wonder what was that as jax only hunt for own feeding...(well not the rats).
Thats why Jax laughed so hard at your accusations the first time you talked to me!

I foresee a lot of nice roleplay situation ahead!!!
Cheers!!!
And thanks for the answers.
Be carefull threatening people like that if there are no DM on.
If people want to kill you for it, then they can´t becource they don´t have PK permission. And thats not fair.

If no DM is on, then you can role dice about it. But that is only fair if bouth players can´t use magic.

So... be carefull about threatning people.

Have fun

Re: To all people and DM 2 questions....
The dice work well enough with magic too, as you have all kinds of dice that are able to be rolled.

Re: To all people and DM 2 questions....
I had no intention of actually attacking him. I know the rules.

And, regardless of what happened, Serion could not have gotten in trouble with the guards as he was out of town. You have to be in town for the laws of town to work.

Minor point about the threatening action taken. A reputation will follow you back into town and color the reactions of others towards you.
