I'm sure you all know of this bug. But hey, might as well proclaim it is a bug and we will at least know when it’s fixed.

Under the current system, it is impossible for a leatherwork crafter to change the appearance of boots. Attempting to do so will simply cause the said boots to disappear and reappear later, unable to edit them ever again.
a few things I can remember

with leather armor, there is a bug where upon customizing 2 ac leather armor to certain torso models will render the armor unchangable by a leatherworker. This was as Vulcano had stated because some of the 2ac and 6ac torso's share some information. He made it sound as though it was workable. I have a sneaking suspicion that those armors that had been made unalterable by a leatherworker could have been modified by an armor smith, this however is as of yet uncomfirmed.

There is the cloak locking problem that I'm sure we're all aware of, where upon if you put on a 3e overcloak and then dye your armor, the overcloak will become fused to your armor. This also happens if you try to modify any part of your armor with a 3e overcloak on.

a couple others i vaguely remember I'll post them when I can remember them more solidly.

When using Brew Potion / potion crafting, nothing happens if one tries to make a potion of Endurance. No error message (as with potions that aren't usable with the system) and no potion. Just nothing.
Scripter's note: the endurance potion problem may be related to our optional spells 2da override. Vulcano may not have added endurance for certain classes which get it under the override. Just something to look into.

*nods* just like the optional spells druids get. they can't be cast on a scroll.

Hmm, ok, that may be a 2da issue, which I will look into.

okay, i'm not good at comp-stuff, but via tells some players shared experience, and it seems all spells that aren't put to class (, so optional) seems un-craftable, both by vulcanos and craft-feats. maybe something for bioware also, to look at? this hampers any server-changes, like the 2da...which makes PW so much more PW in my eyes, anyway.

or does the vulcanos system overrides the standard craft-feat system bioware installed? then it would be a matter of having the scripting cracks to look into the vulcanos craft thing (i know it's easier to write it like this than to get it done, but scripting is pure magick to me)

There is a 2da for scrolls which defines what items are created for each class when each spell is cast on a blank scroll. The entries for the spells we added through our override are blank by default, because they're not supposed to be available.

I have not yet found a 2da like this for potions.

certain objects that claim to be modifiable upon completion of crafting (to my memory boots and shields pose the biggest problem) simply dissapear upon attempts to modify their appearance. If they do not vanish outright they eventually reappear but their appearance is typically locked into the original form.
I have encountered a bug with tanning tools, where even when they are stated to be in good condition and I have used them at the proper time, I still recieve a -2 (as though there are no tools) instead of the +/- 0 you should recieve with them. I can't testify to other tools and it doesn't seem to be a problem with MW tanning tools. It does not happen every time but frequently enough to be cumbersome.

I'm not sure tanning is covered under the leatherworking skill, and if the tools are supposed to apply to it?

the tanning tools are in fact the leatherworking tools. the bug drach described happened a few times. but not all crafting was bugged at those times. i remember when the bowying got bugged, but the rest wasn't, also another time the armouring and weapons were bugged, but not the bowying. and it did affect MW tools those times too, if i remember correctly.

sorry to clarify i meant when performing leatherworking (making actual leather items) not tanning. they are just called "tanners tools" in game i believe which is probably why I misspoke above.

I am not sure if this is a bug, but here goes...

The "Noble woolen" overcloak/overrobe has the appearance of a "sleeveless wizard robe" when you look at its icon in the inventory, yet when you wear them they have a different appearance (formal robe?). I believe this difference applies to both the storebought and crafted robes of that design. Does anyone know if that is intentional? I would think that it would be best to make the icon and the object look the same appearance wise.
