The Vast

*a small note is left on a scroll of birchbark written in elvish in the rangers camp and on the western gate of the dale. Enough room has been left for others to leave a marking of their own*

To those who walk the wood,
A few friends left word for me of men of ill intent wandering the eastern wood and the ghlades north of them. I do not know if they remain or how many there are but I would seek to wander them and the company of others would be welcome. Leave word here with your mark and I will seek you out to speak more of this.

((ooc: Just putting together an opportunity for RP. Anyone signing up should have no expectations beyond a good time and good RP. As such this is open to all folks of all levels. That being said keep in mind that anything can happen at any time and your character could be put into harms way. I would also put a plug in for AG's post about IC reasonings for characters to go on quests. (you can find it here) for reasons of lag and general progression I'm limiting group size to six people.))

*he walks up quietly to the gate noticing the small wooden birch note left there. he reads it before entering the dale and raises a curious brow. Slowly his brow furrows as looks east he speaks quitely under his breath.*

((Shen will a company on this journey. Such rumors of happening near Zatos school must be looked into. The woods east have always been a place of peace as long as the school stands.))

Approaching Isandra's tent, the young druidess reads a scroll written in Elvish. With a quick nod and a flourish she adds her name below Shen's.

*murmurs in the ancient language* I will speak with Tomo.

((occ: Kua has much to learn from Isendyl and Tomo. She considers the East Wood her home, as well. (7:00 EST is an hour early for me, work until 7 CDT... If game time is firm, perhaps she will be best slotted as an alternate...??))

*As Willem prepares to head out the west gate, he notices the birch bark left on the gate. He quickly reads it and then places his mark below Shen's. He then wanders back the way he came, all prior plans forgotten.*

*Tomo casually steps up towards the gate, searching for the posting. His eyes skip over the elven script until he finds several names scribed near the bottom. In a firm, steady hand, he signs the bark*
