Culling of the goblin kin

Post by TheOneBc »

*battered and bruised the cloaked figure strolls into the city late at night, quietly he tacks up a notice before traveling north to the small town where he once gain enters the tavern and tacks up an identical notice*

Notice reads:

Friends, for too long have the goblin and their kin gone unchecked... strong numbers gather in packs, and worse still their masters driving them out to hunt and pillage while they stay in their seclusion of that hole.

Will none help in culling back their numbers? It is only a matter of time before they flood your homes.
I ask for the aid of thoes able to take the fight to them.
If you wish to lend a hand seek me out.
Signed
QJ

A thin framed yet gracfull in step man walks to the message. After a few moments, he scribes a single name on a small piece of paper and tacks it to the message. "Florin"
He turns and exits the Inn heading out to scout ahead.

Lyrian meets Quinn in Talliano's store in River Vesper Landing, and tells him personally that he can count on her. She also says she would ask the other members of the Crimson Company, to see if any of them would be interested in helping.

On her way out from the pub for the evening, the honey haired hin passes the notice. Her cheeks flush, and her eye lids heavy, she chews lightly on her lower lip, considering the prospect. She heaves a deep sigh, and peers down at her comfortable, yet ornate brown and blue silk robes, and mutters, "It's been a long time since I wore my black cloth, and hurled myself down a stinking hole." She frowns, "Too long."

"Tomorrow I'll ask Arielle to deliver a message to Quinn... he can count on me, should he choose."

----------

Hopefully the troublesome familiar doesn't mangle the message to badly. I don't have any plans for next weekend, if that's when you're looking to do this. Count me in if you like.

* as the two woodsfolk rest near the road on the edge of the Great open plains of the north the elf replies after a long pause to the man's query*

[Elven] If you should have need of me, you need but only ask my friend.

*The woodsman moves from the tree line and heads towards the west gate, watching for any signs of the goblin patrols that had been so bold recently. Upon reaching the gate and entering the town he happens upon the notice and reads it before slightly nodding*
"Indeed it has been too long."

*He removes a piece of coal from his pack and with several strokes, leaves his mark below the original signature: a W and a B followed by two crossed swords. The woodsman then turns and leaves the Dale by the south gate, disappearing into the night*

So erm, to help keep the ball rolling on this I'll post my schedule times (granted if they are drastically different from everyone elses just go with whats best for the mission)

Friday-Saturday can do pretty much any time if I have some heads up. Sunday's I can't be up too late so afternoons US time work best for me with a cut off of around 9pm EST or so.

And next weekend I won't be around going down south to enjoy some time on a beach and maybe see the sun (for once)

Sunday works well for me, but the earlier we could start the better off I will probably be come monday morning when I'm working hehehe. I think I'm five hours ahead of you all. That being said if evening ends up working out best for you all I am more than happy to bow out, or come for a few hours and sneak out at some point. I'd say probably about 9ish is the latest for me.
